The end, or is it the beginning of another incredible week for Milwaukees premier CrossFIt gym.  This will mark the 52nd week we have been open.hard to believe we have been helping change peoples lives for a solid year now.

We grow almost daily, there are 17 athletes in our current "on ramp" class, we had three athletes complete the private on ramp sessions, school is letting out so we have seen an influx of CrossFitters from around the country, including Hawaii. 

As the Affiliate owner, I want to thank each and every person that has helped shape CFG into the awesome facility it has become.

We, as CrossFitters across the globe, are currently in the middle of Regionals.  Due to the fact that one of our own, Coach 9mm (Nina) is going to compete, we will have a few schedule changes that will affect Thursday May 17th, and Friday May 18th. 

On Thursday May 17th, the 4:30 pm class has been canceled, The morning, afternoon and other evening classes remain unaffected. 

On Friday, The will be no formal classes, except for the 5:30 and 6:30 pm classes.  The Gym will be open regular hours, and there will be someone there to watch over, however there will be no coaching until the evening classes.

Anyone interested in Watching 9mm take on the other world class athletes in our region, there will be a group of about 25 of us down in Chicago, cheering her on.

Once again, another CrossFitter has made an impact on me that will probably stay with me forever.  On a daily basis my athletes change the way I look at the world, and every now and again I get hit with "sledge hammers"! (Look for those in tomorrow's WOD).

4:15 pm, getting ready for the 4:30 class and in walks Becky.   She knows that we are celebrating another athletes birthday, Big Mike, with 100 burpees, and she came to the wod anyway.  She says to me on her way in, "I am 3 pounds away from losing my 50, that even though I hate burpees, I  want to sweat the next three off today,AND honor Mike.  (we did 100 burpees, because Mike lost 100 pounds in the last 5 months) and it's a nice round number.

Anyway, once again CrossFit and CrossFItters have changed my life, so I now spend my time trying to help them change theirs!

ON RAMP STARTS IN 4 DAYS!!!

This Months program starts Monday the 7th and runs M-W-F for two weeks.  We have classes at 11:00 am and 6:30 pm.  5 spaces at 11 still open, and 3 for the 6:30.  hurry and register, these sessions WILL sell out.

You will learn the everything you need to know to get through basic Crossfit wod's,   You will also be participating in custom designed workouts that will test you physically and mentally.

For only $75.00 you will receive six one hour sessions and six workouts led by two nationally certified trainers.

Potential CrossFitters, the Milwaukee area's premier CrossFit facility, CrossFit Greendale,  will be holding the "on ramp" program for beginners and those needing a refresher course, staring May 7th.  The "on ramp" program is designed to introduce you to the methods and mechanics of CrossFit.  The program has been specially designed to teach you progressively all the foundational movements and ranges of motion that will enable you to participate in the daily group wod's.

Each class is led by two nationally certified trainers that will be with you from start to finish.  The classes are held each Monday Wednesday and Friday at either 11:00am or 6:30 pm and run for an hour.  Each class will be full of instruction, as well as hands on time under the barbell.  you will also participate in six specially designed wod's that will test your abilities in the exercises covered.

The first step is to fill in your email address in the box to the right. Then, go to the class schedule tab, forward to May 7th and sign up for the class time that suits you best.  You will be prompted for a payment, be sure to choose the 50% discount option, as this is THE LAST MONTH of the discount.

Ok Milwaukee,  CrossFIt Greendale will offer the "on ramp" (beginners course) sessions at a 50% discount for the May sessions.  That means you will receive six hours of instruction from two nationally certified trainers, and participate in specially designed workouts to  push you both mentally and physically. 

The sessions begin on Monday May 7th, and run for one hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for two consecutive weeks.  the cost for the entire two weeks is only $75.00.   In order to qualify for the discount, you must enter your email in the box to the right, then, go to the class schedule tab, and sign up for the "on ramp" class time that suits your schedule. 

Please hurry, classes are in high demand, and fill up quickly.

The picture above right needs to be addressed.  That is Mike Q. our first athlete to lose 100  (one hundred) pounds, AND now he's climbing ropes to the top.  A truly remarkable and inspirational young man.

Well Milwaukee, CrossFit Greendale graduated the April "on ramp" class Friday night.  It was a great two weeks, and we now have 12 new members, with a couple more pending.  I mentioned to the class that the Saturday morning WOD would be the first one available to them as new members, and..They came, and killed it!

By the way, that Saturday wod was a brutal.

Our next on ramp session will begin on Monday, May 7th.  The classes are held every Monday-Wednesday and Friday for two weeks.  class times are 11:00 am and 6:30 pm, and run for one hour.  The classes are designed to teach you the standards and ranges of motion required to participate in the daily group wod's.  Each day you will new new movements, and participate in a specially designed WOD (work out of the day) that will test you both mentally and physically.

We have been offering this program at a 50 % discount, and this will be the last discount session.  Normal fee is $150 for the two weeks, if you act now, you can take advantage of the 50% discount.  You will receive 6, one hour classes, run by two nationally certified trainers and take part in the daily workouts.

Another fabulous week at CFG.  All kinds of PR's and great accomplishments occurring on a daily basis.  (PR:  personal record)

This week, we started a new On Ramp class this Monday, we have 14 new CrossFitters.  Look out Milwaukee, we're going to get you fit one WOD at a time.  Bradford Beach CrossFit classes will be starting soon.  Stay tuned for further information
